2015 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

DON CHILDS - Don was a member of the Mudcats from 1997-2003. A formidable hitter and pitcher as well as an assistant coach, Don pitched and got the win vs Cherry Creek, CO for the Mudcats in their first ever trip to the NBC World Series. Don is a lifetime .431 hitter with 16 2B, 1 3B, 2 HR, 22 RBI, 36 RU, and 1 SB. Don was also 12-7 on the mound with 1 Save. In his days as an assistant manager the Cats were a combined 169-80 with 5 Championships and 6 NBC World Series appearances. Don is a lawyer these days and continues to live in the Austin area. 

TODD HOTZ - Todd was a member of the Mudcats from 1997-2003. Todd was the head manager and lead the Cats to a 169-80 record over that span including 5 Championships and 6 NBC World Series appearances. Todd was well known for his intellect and wisdom as well as managing with an iron fist similar to Coach Gus at UT. Todd also logged a win and two saves for the Cats. Todd is a lawyer these days and still lives in the Austin area.

JIMMIE NAUMANN - Jimmie is widely considered the Father of the Mudcats. Jimmie is the President and CEO of the Mudcats and has been with the Cats since 1996. Jimmie has lifetime stats of .361 avg., 78 HI, 68 1B, 8 2B, 2 HR, 63 RBI, 49 RU, and 39 BB. Jimmie has been a part of all 14 Championships with the Cats and he is still going. When anyone mentions anything about the Mudcats it is hard for them not to mention Jimmie Naumann. Jimmie works for Texas Legislative Service and still resides in the Austin area. 

DAVID PRATT - David has been the manager for the Cats since 2008. Since becoming manager the Cats have a record of 140-37 with 8 Championships and 1 ASPBA World Series Runner Up in 2010. David has manage several professional baseball players including the late Brad Halsey who pitched for the New York Yankees. David is a 2nd generation Mudcat of sorts as his son Michael also played for the Cats. David owns American Carpet Outlet and lives in Bastrop.

MIKE PUMO - Mike has been with the Cats for 17 years and still going. Mike has lifetime stats of .408 avg., 217 HI, 138 1B, 51 2B, 9 3B, 19 HR, 151 RBI, 194 RU, and 48 SB. Mike has been a part of 13 Championships with the Cats including 2 different World Series. Mike will be entering his 18th season this Spring and is one of only a few lifelong Cats. Mike owns several bars around town and continues to live in the Austin area.
