Carolina Jazz is a basketball organization designed to promote and develop basketball fundamentals and increase skills in a male/female competitive environment. To that extent, membership is open to all male & female youth who have an interest and commitment to complying with the rules and regulations of the Carolina Jazz. Prospective members are encouraged to participate in basketball and non-related basketball events in their communities. Community service projects will be planned throughout the basketball season. Most will be preplanned, but there will be some that will be identified by the members and fully executed by them. Carolina Jazz official uniform must be worn during all designated events. They will be available to members. It is expected that members will be conscious of their behavior on and off the basketball court. The Carolina Jazz is more than an opportunity for members to play basketball. It is a comprehensive program that uses basketball as a tool to attract and develop young men & women into responsible, respectful, and honorable adults. Parents/guardians play an integral role to assisting us to make the Carolina Jazz experience a successful one. They are required to participate in events that will shape members' lives in concert with the Carolina Jazz. Members will be offered an opportunity to join the alumni association upon completing their player's role with Carolina Jazz. The alumni association is an excellent way for members to remain connected with Carolina Jazz and serve as mentors to new members. Carolina Jazz will always seek new strategies to serve the existing and emerging needs of its members and the communities that it serves. Your active membership will empower the Carolina Jazz to achieve this goal.
