Total Baseball Development

The S.P. Hitting Zone is the official out-of-season hitting location for Total Baseball Development, and the official cold weather hitting site for the Sioux City Bancrofts.

The place to hit in Siouxland, S.P. Hitting Zone is family owned, and has been serving the area since 2007. They offer five batting cages 60 feet by 14 feet with two of the cages capable of being converted into two live pitching tunnels the size of 70 feet by 14 feet. The have pitching machines, and also the famous Allstar ACE 5000 simulator. Very cool!!!

The S.P. Hitting Zone is owned and operated by Boyd and Annette Pitkin and is located at 2924 Robinson Street in Sioux City, Iowa. Call Annette at 712.899.0472 to set up your next hitting time.......by appointment only.

2016 - Try out all of the new bats!!! - FREE

Scheels will be having a Baseball Bat Demonstration Day this Saturday, February 6 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the S.P. Hitting Zone located at 2924 Robinson Street in Sioux City, Iowa (712.899.0472)

This is a FREE event and you will get the opportunity to try out all of the new bats and baseball gear for the 2016 season.........Easton, Wilson, Rawlings, Louisville Slugger, and Mizuno!!! No pre-registration required and this event is for players from 10 to 22 years old.
