GIANTS SPLIT CRAZY SUNDAY DOUBLEHEADER WITH SAN MATEO
The Giants played two exciting games against the San Mateo Bulldogs, Sunday, June 13th. Tiny West Sunset Park turned into a zoo, as the Bulldogs yelled, bit, and clawed their way to a win in the first game. Then the Giants, thanks to Dr. J's buckets of Chicken, fought their way back to beat San Mateo in the 2nd game.

Giants Split Doubleheader at Fairfield, Saturday, 6/19.

The SF Giants trekked to Fairfield, CA, on Saturday, 6/19, to play 2 against the Fairfield Indians.
In the first game, the Giants pulled out a 9th inning victory, breaking an 8-all tie. Danny Rico drove home Julian Caparaz and Khamis Zananiri with a triple to right field. Evan Kruger, who went 4-for-6 for the game, drove Rico in with a basehit. Mark Johnston pitched 2 shutout innings for the win, after Alex Sowyrda and Hiro Hizawa battled through the first 6 1/3. Justin Dagostino pitched his first inning of the season, getting his first batter to ground into an inning-ending double-play.
In the second game, the Giants got shut-out by the Indians, after picking up only 3 hits, and leaving 8 stranded.
All in all, it was an eventful trip for the Giants, who now have a week off from games, until Friday, July 2nd, when they face the Oakland Eagles at USF field.

    GIANTS vs SLO BLUES
    May 30, 2005 - 11:30 AM --
    NEXT GAME

Giants got swept by the SLO blues during Memorial Day weekend.
Mark Johnston pitched a brilliant game, holding the SLO offensive attack to 1 earn run. John Justice pitched the 2nd game of the DH, striking out 5 blues batters. Kelvin Elsner returned to the mound after one year due to arm surgery and David Parshal intimidated SLO batters with fire ball fastballs. The Giants will try to regroup this week by playing better defense and scoring more runs.
