LVSDPW is a proud member of the Mt. Baldy Youth Football Conference.
We compete under the rules and regulations governed by the National Pop Warner Little Scholars Organization.
There are 15 cities in our conference, they consist of Chino, Diamond Bar, Fontana, La Verne San Dimas, Moreno Valley, Ontario, Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto, Riverside, San Bernardino, Upland, Victorville, and our two new memebers Corona Valley and Lower Cochella Valley.
The conference has five divisions of play, they are Mighty-Mites, Junior Pee Wees, Pee Wees, Junior Midgets, and Midgets. We field eight teams, two in the Mighty-Mite division. The Gladiators and the Barbarians are our two Mighty-Mite teams. The two Jr Pee Wee divisions are the Spartans and Vulcans. The Lancers and Centurions are the two that compete in the Pee Wee division. The Romans and Tritons represent us in the Jr Midget division and the Trojans are our big boys in the Midget division. Our Cheerleaders are placed on a squad based on their age, which mirrors the ages of the player divisions. Our rosters comprise of children age 7 thru 15 from La Verne, San Dimas, Claremont, North Pomona and any of the surrounding areas that do not have a youth program.
Currently we have 270 boys and girls involved in our organization.
We are located 50 miles east of Los Angeles, nestled against the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains.
We take the field every year beginning in August and our season ends Thanksgiving weekend as we play host to Pop Warner programs outside our region for our Annual Citrus Bowl Game.
During the month of August, we practice Monday through Friday, from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm. During the month of September, we practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm and on Saturdays between 8:00 am and 10 am or 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, depending on the Divison assigned.
All our games are held on Sundays during the regular season. All home games are at Bonita High School. Directions for away games will be provided throughout the season.
