PACKERS TAKE MDFFA INAUGURAL TITLE
TAKE $1000 PRIZE WITH WIN
The Baltimore Packers beat the Baltimore Scorpions in yesterday's league championship game by a final score of 30-12. DJ had 5 TDs (4 passing, 1 rushing), and well over 100 yds passing. The Scorpions scored twice, both over 50 yards. The first time came when John McGraw hit Richard Johnson on a 50 yd pass for the score. The second was after Richard Johnson took over for McGraw, and he hit Maurice Williams for a 65 yard score. It was a close game when it was 12-6, but the Packers pulled ahead and never looked back.

TROJANS BEAT WIN CONSOLATION CHAMPIONSHIP &
GET SPRING 2007 LEAGUE FEE PAID WITH 21-7 WIN OVER DESTALLIONS
Everyone thought this game would be close. These games usually are. It was, until the second half. The Destallions never really got going offensively. Their only offensive score came when Thor Jones hit Dameon Johnson on a screen which turned from a small gain to a 65 yd TD. They also blocked an extra point and ran it back 80 yards for 1 point. The Trojans scored three times, once on defense. The first strike came when Corey Goodwin hit Jason Pitts on a 30 yard pass jump ball, taking advantage of the mismatch due to Pitts height. This was a controversial TD though, as Pitts came in motion and looked to have gone forward before the snap, which should be a false start. It was ruled, however, a TD. In the second half, Goodwin hit #1 on a 40 yd TD pass. On the insuing Destallions possession, Trojan DB Jordan Boyd picked off a Dameon Johnson pass and took it back 30 yards for the score, which sealed the game.
