Cheerleaders are permitted to wear black gloves only.  White, green or any other color is not permitted.  Gloves with glitter, designs, etc will not be permitted.  The best gloves to wear are the cheap one size fits all stretchy gloves.  NO MITTENS!

Uniform Fitting Notice 2009

Uniform fitting is Saturday, June 6th at the South River School gym and café from 10:00 am – 11:30 am for Mites and Pee Wees and from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm for Midgets. This is for drop off only. No parents will be allowed in. Make sure your child eats before coming.

This fitting is absolutely mandatory.
All Cheerleaders must wear a bathing suit or body suit to uniform fitting.  Please refrain from wearing bikins.
NEW:  In our continued effort to cut costs, camp wear is optional this year.  We are offering tshirts and shorts that you can purchase if you want for camp, practice or for just hanging around.
Please wear medium thick socks. These socks help when your child is fitted for sneakers.
All girls MUST bring a duffle bag, tote bag or backpack to place their shoes and clothes in after they remove them.
All cheerleaders must bring the completed Accessory Order form with the appropriate money due to the fitting.  You can find the form under the "Uniform and Accessories" tab on our website.
If you have not paid the $265.00 uniform deposit check dated 12/01/2009 or an unpaid balance from last season - you will not be able to take your uniform with you.

If you have not turned in your camp form, please bring it to fitting along with the $50.00 camp deposit if you have not paid it.   You can find the form under the "Camp" tab of the website.


CHECKLIST:
1.  Completed Accessory Form
2.  Accessory Payment minus any credit on your account
3.  Uniform Deposit Check for $265.00 dated 12/01/09
4.  Camp Form
5.  Camp Deposit of $50.00
6.  Tote bag or like bag for clothes
7.  Wear bathing suit or bodysuit
8.  Wear medium thick socks
9.  Payment for any balance due from 2008 or 2009


For your reference:

Mites are cheerleaders entering grades 3 and 4
Pee Wees are cheerleaders entering grades 5 and 6
Midgets are cheerleaders entering grades 7 and 8





Uniform Cleaning Instructions
All items are to be worn for cheerleading events only. If you wear your uniform anywhere else, you shall be removed from the team.

Skirts and Shells

DO NOT DRY CLEAN!!!!! Dry cleaning your uniforms will remove the Visa treatments that have been put into the garments. Machine wash in warm water, permanent press cycle. Tumble dry, medium-permanent press cycle. Remove promptly from both the washer and dryer to avoid running and wrinkling. Touch up with warm iron if needed, putting a clean white cloth between iron and garment surface to avoid scorching. Please do not remove sizing labels/tags.


Warmup Pants and Jackets

Machine wash luke warm water with mild detergent on gentle cycle and hang dry. DO NOT TUMBLE OR MACHINE DRY!


Briefs

Briefs should be washed separately the first time washing. Cold water wash and low to medium heat for drying. Remove promptly.


Bodysuits

Gentle cycle, warm water wash and dry on low heat. You also may hand wash it.


Duffel Bags

Wipe clean with a wet sponge. Do not leave any colored papers in the bag because they are not waterproof. If a colored paper gets wet it will run on your uniform items.


Sneakers

Wipe sneakers clean after each wear. Spray along rubber sides with Fantastik or other spray cleaner and scrub clean. Rinse under warm water. Leather parts of sneakers should be cleaned with a cloth or sponge to avoid abrasion marks. You may also wash your sneakers in the top rack of your dishwasher. Sneakers must always be WHITE-WHITE!
