In partnership with The Princeton Recreation Department, The Princeton Tennis Program (PTP) serves as the programming, instructional and supervisory agency of the Community Park Tennis courts. Established in 1954, PTP is one of the nation’s oldest and most successful non-profit, community tennis organizations. PTP and The Princeton Recreation Department have been partners in providing tennis facilities and programming for over 40 years.  PTP’s mission is to provide year-round, low-cost, high quality tennis instruction for all ages and all levels. PTP pursues a standard of excellence in teaching that encourages the development of health, character, good sportsmanship, and responsible citizenship. PTP seeks broad-based community participation by subsidizing lesson fees and establishing scholarships. PTP has twice (2000, 2010) been named ‘Organization of the Year’ by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), New Jersey District, & USTA Middle States.

Membership
Membership Fees have been reduced for 2012! All memberships will be issued directly through PTP. Registration is available on the Community Park Tennis Complex (CPTC) registration site. Call the PTP Office for more information at 609-520-0015.

Benefits
Only members are able to check the CPTC court availability and reserve a court up to 1 week in advance. Members reserve courts and play for free. Membership will allow PTP to keep you informed of Special Events and Discounts at the CPTC. Members can participate in PTP round robins - FREE! (based upon availability & registration required)

Junior (ages 5 – 17): $35
Senior (ages 65 and older): $35
Adult (ages 18 – 64): $65 (comes w/ 2 free guest passes)

Senior (ages 65 and older): $53

Playing Fees

Tennis Members: FREE
Princeton resident, non-member: $10 per person
Nonresident, nonmember: $15 per person
Non-members using lights: $5 plus fee listed above

Schedule
The 2012 tennis season begins in mid-April and runs through October. Courts can be reserved by members from 7 am – 10:00 pm, seven days a week, when available. Becoming a member is the best way to ensure that you can find an open court when you want one, as membership allows for court reservation up to one week ahead of time. As PTP’s goal is to increase tennis participation in the community, there may not always be unlimited courts available at certain times of the day as in past years.
