2009: Senior Lissa Fehlman was 5-for-7 with three doubles, a grand slam and five RBI in her first weekend of play this season.
EVANSVILLE, Ind.--University of Evansville senior softball player Lissa Fehlman (Elgin, IL) has been named as one of 30 national candidates for the prestigious Lowe’s Senior CLASS Award, which is presented annually to the NCAA Division I Student-Athlete of the Year in eight different sports. 2008: Started 39 of the 43 games she played in at third base…held a .966 fielding average with just four errors…finished in the top ten in assists in the MVC…tallied three home runs and 17 RBI…had a home run and three RBI in the Aces’ 16-4 win over Southeast Missouri…was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI against Drake on March 15…hit a three-run home run in the Aces’ 5-0 shutout of Southern Illinois on April 16…had an MVC game-high eight assists against Missouri State on April 19.
2007: Started in 45 of her 46 appearances…tied for third on the team with six homeruns…was perfect in going 5-for-5 in steals…had two hits in three at bats with two RBI in win over Georgetown…went 3-for-3 with an RBI against Mississippi Valley State…batted a perfect 3-for-3 against Southeast Missouri with a homerun and two RBI.
2006: Recorded a .962 fielding percentage...Had two doubles in a 3-1 win over Bradley on 4-8-06...hit a triple and tallied three RBI in a 7-4 win over SLU on 4-25-06...NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete selection.
