FOOTBALL for ages 7-11

CHEERLEADING for grades 2nd – 6th



Saturday June 4th@ Harrison Middle School – 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

***Cheerleaders MUST register by June 4th***


Saturday July 9th @ Baldwin Borough Building – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Football players only


After July 9th, a LATE FEE of $20 per child will be imposed (late registration is not available for cheerleaders



Minimum – You must turn 7 before 8/1  Maximum – You may not turn 12 before 8/1.

New football players MUST bring a copy of their Birth Certificate in order to register.


Grade Eligibility for Cheerleading:

 Going into 2nd grade-6th grade

$70 for 1st child in family; $65 for 2nd child in family; 3rd & successive Child/children in same family – NO CHARGE –

$50 per child for fundraiser; $30 for 2nd Child in Family; This is a mandatory fundraiser and advance payment is due at registration. You have the opportunity to recoup the payment by selling lottery tickets.

$35 cheerleading camp fee (cheerleaders only)

$30 check is needed for a league services fee.  The check WILL NOT be cashed and returned when parents meet league service obligations- concession stand, chains etc. We are a Non Profit Organization and rely on parental volunteerism.

$20 LATE FEE (per child) if you sign up after 7/10 (No late registration accepted for cheerleaders)





Ages 8 & under:                       Max.wt. of   90 

                                    Age 9:                         Max.wt. of 105  

                                    Age 10:                        Max.wt. of 120  

                                    Age 11:                        Max.wt. of 135


If you exceed the maximum weight you may lose it by 8/15 or you may play up in the next-higher age group. Age/Weight class cannot be changed after 8/15! There will be WEIGH-INS BEFORE EVERY GAME!



HELMET;  Available at registration for $125.00 from LeWay. Someone from LeWay will be at registration to fit you.   Returning football players may bring their helmets to registration for safety check!!

PRACTICE PANTS & SHIRTS (available at any sporting Goods store)

SHOES – rubber cleats; no metal spikes!


DAILY FOOTBALL PRACTICE: (Monday-Friday) will begin on Monday, August 1st, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

at Paynter Elementary. Once games begin (8/28,) practice will be 3 days per week; Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.  Practice will move to Baldwin Municipal Field (on Churchview Ave. behind the municipal building) on Tuesday 9/14.

MANDATORY PARENT MEETING first day of practice, Monday 8/1, 6:00 p.m. at Paynter.





CHEERLEADERS:  In addition to the camp fee, cheerleaders must purchase a Warm-Up Suit ($65).  Previously purchased warm up suits from previous years are still acceptable.  It is also mandatory for the girls to purchase Purple Spankies for under their cheer skirts (will be available for purchase at registration) and a White Midriff Turtleneck (will also be available for purchase at registration).



CHEERLEADING CAMP IS MANDATORYCamp will be August 1 - 4 (with a possibility of August 5th, this will be a per squad basis) at Premier Gym and Cheer (located across the street from Baldwin High School).  Each squad will be given a 2 hour time slot per day at Premier in order to learn their half time routine, proper stunting and a hello cheer. Your time slot will be given to you after registration.  The second week of cheer camp will be Mon - Thurs, Aug. 8 - 11, from 6 - 8 at Paynter Elementary School.


CHEERLEADING PRACTICE: will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays for the remainder of August from 6 - 7:30 at Paynter.  Cheer practice will decrease in September based on coach’s discretion, which days and how many days of practice are necessary for their individual squad.  The coaches will advise the parents of any changes to practice the week before the change will occur.





GAMES: will be on 9 consecutive WEEKENDS (Saturday OR Sunday) beginning 8/28. Regular season ends 10/23-24, but the next 3 weekends will be Playoffs, Division championships, and League championships. Four dates of the regular season will be “at home.” The rest will be Away: at  Brentwood, Brookline, Carlynton,  Montour, Moon,  North Hills,  South Park, SouthSide,  West Allegheny, West Jefferson Hills (“TJ”) &/or West Mifflin.
