Baseball in Mira Mesa Youth Baseball is played under the following hierarchy of rules: 1) The current rules of Major League Baseball as published by The Commissioner of Baseball; 2) any deviations from and/or exceptions to Major League Baseball rules prescribed by PONY Baseball, Inc. in the most current edition of the PONY rules for each Division; and 3) rules provided in our local playing rules, including any deviations from PONY Baseball rules as approved by PONY Baseball. Our local playing rules are reviewed and potentially revised every year before our spring season.
