Team Nitro Long Island Fastpitch

Team Nitro LI 18U Gold is a team of players solely focused on Recruiting and playing Softball in College. Under the Head Coaching direction of Anthony 'Coach Caz' Casalino, Assistant Coach Alyssa Persich (Played at SUNY Geneseo - 2019 Grad) and Assistant Coach Maria Lutz (currently playing at SUNY Oswego - 2025 Grad), this team plays all the highly competitive College Showcasing events in the northeast and beyond. 

The sole focus and goal of this team is to prepare players to recruit and play in college. Coach Caz will use his past knowledge and experience placing players into college to prepare the players on this team for the recruiting process. Sessions will be held both on and off the field to prepare players.

On the field, players will be asked to practice and prepare in very focused and instructional training sessions. Emphasis will be placed on player development and teaching the game of softball at a college level. Players will be challenged on a consistent basis to take risks and improve their skill set level. Playing time in all Showcase events will be evenly distributed to ensure equal playing time as team wins and losses have no baring on the success of this team

Off the field, players will be provided sessions  and directions to understand the recruiting process as well as be given guidance and assistance to develop a recruiting plan of attack. The success of this team will be solely predicated on how well each individual succeeding in their college recruiting goals.
