Wolverines' Season Ends at Eastern Regional Finals

July 26, 2003
Following an outstanding ten-game run of post-season play, the Wolverines fell to Bensalem Saturday, July 26, in the finals of Pennsylvania Junior American Legion Eastern Regionals, in Emmaus, PA. Bensalem advances with Boyertown to the State Championship in Homer City, PA, next week. (In the second game of the day, Boyertown avenged their loss to Bensalem the evening before, defeating Bensalem 11-2 to claim the Regional Championship.)
The Wolverines may now enjoy a well-deserved, but brief, vacation, before many of the boys must start preseason practice or attend camps for fall and winter sports. Congratulations to the team for an outstanding run of post-season play.
The Wolverines, this year, had a 14 - 3 record in regular season play, and a 7 - 3 record in post - season play (4 - 1 in league playoffs, and 3 - 2 at the Eastern Regionals).

2003 Photos

July 26, 2003
Click here to view game photos for the games listed. I am using Yahoo Photos as the method of display this year, which is a slightly different system from 2002. Click the link below for photos of a particular game. You will be taken to an album page with thumbnails of the photos for a game, 12 to a page. Click the next 12 and so forth to see more thumbnails. Clicking on a thumbnail will bring up a larger version of the photo. The largest photos come up when you click the slideshow link from the album page. There are navigation buttons at the top of the slideshow page to stop, go forward, go backward and control speed.
I am not sure how Yahoo's "order photo" system works, but I am planning to give everyone a disk with the full resolution photos at the end of season so that you may get prints or print your own, which is an alternative option to buying through Yahoo.
