Bears defeat the Vikings, 68-67 on a last second score by DeShawn Vodrazka....great game! came down to the last drive....Bears who are facing a 4th and 20, go for the first down, and Joe Barbarise makes an AMAZING one handed diving catch to keep the game alive and get the first...they would then score to tie the game, and all they needed was the extra point to send them into overtime! DeShawn ran the back of the endzone and was open on the left side and scored the game winner...it was DeShawn's 5th score of the game! Vinny Barbarise added 5 scores as well, and Michael O'Brien added 2 scores for the victors...the Vikings played a great game and got scores from Marcus Torres, Ralph Mason who finished with 3 td's, Michael Nolan who added 2 scores, Alex Bermudez added 3 scores, and Katie Boyle added an extra point...the Bears now face the Broncos in the championship game today at 4:45pm @ Gorman Field....

AMERICAN DIVISON CHAMPIONSHIP - Roccos vs. Yung Money - big showdown...Yung Money won season series, 61-48, and 46-43....Yung Money is a very, very fast team...Derrell Williams and Mark Johnson may be the 2 quickest players to ever play at Gorman...with a smart QB in Duval Cheatham, Yung Money will be hard to beat...but Roccos knows the championship game, as this is their 4th straight yr in the title game, winning it in 2006 & 2008...QB Steve Stiller is the leader and he is the reason for the teams success...Anthony Carrano will have a big game and use his height to his advantage...but the guy Roccos will rely on is Joey Mauri, the teams leading scorer and go to guy...defense is key for this game - Roccos allowed 423 pts in a 11 games, while Yung Money allowed 356 in 10 games....with rain in the forecast for Friday, Gorman Field may be muddy on Sunday, and that may determine the gameplans for both teams...will be an exciting game and promises to be a great championship!

The 2nd game was a nice matchup between the BDP and HQ Crew....HQ Crew jumped out to a quick 13-0 lead, but BDP QB Jay Szymanski led the comeback and finished 29 for 47 with 7 TDs and 3 INT's and got the W...Anthony Yurchak and Chris Otero played very well offensively with Anthony finishing with 3 TD's and Otero with 2....Joe Roesinger added a TD as did Dave Lewandoski....HQ Crew will compete this season and has some good players...Pat Lioi looks to be the go-to guy on his team..finished with 2 TD's last night..Mike Tapia also a tough player and added 2 TD's.....HQ Crew will look to rebound from this game as they take on the DJ's Fun Monsters Saturday at 11am....BDP is back in action this wednesday night as they take on DJ's as well.....
