July 16, 2006 --
Todd, Aaron and Jeremy of the Washington State Wiffleball Association came to Jones Field to play on Sunday. Todd and Aaron of the Clapping Chimps and Jeremy of the Untouchables have been playing tournament wiffleball up in the Seattle area for eight years now. This group of guys is a blast to play with and they shared a lot of info on bats, pitching and tournament play. We will be planning a road-trip in the near future to go play on their "home" turf. All in all just a great group of guys.
The CCWA was represented by Jim Hewey, Brian Eyer, Erik Guttormsen, Tyler Johnson, Nate Bullock, Colin Conway and Justin Johnson.
Here is some video of Aaron of the Clapping Chimps throwing some extremely nasty stuff at Collin. Check out that first pitch, the filthiest riser I have ever seen. This guy is flat-out amazing.
