GIRLS DIVISION 1:
  • Highly competitive teams.
  • Unlimited grade exceptions allowed for all age divisions.
  • January 1st – December 31st ADD.

GIRLS DIVISION 2:

  • Recreational/Community based teams
  • Unlimited grade exceptions allowed for all age divisions.
  • January 1st – December 31st ADD.
1.   A team playing in Division 1 may permanently move to Division 2 at anytime during the qualifying season as long as they meet the criteria and requirements of a Division 2 team. However, they will forfeit all rankings points earned at the Division 1 level.

2.   A team playing in Division 2 may permanently move to Division 1 at anytime during the qualifying season as long as they meet the criteria and requirements of a Division 1 team. However, they will forfeit all rankings points earned at the Division 2 level.
 
3.   If a Division 2 team "plays up" in an age division at the request of a Tournament Director or State Director, that team will earn double rankings points for that event.

4.   All Division 1 and 2 teams must participate and qualify in their respective State Championship Tournament to be eligible to participate in the YBOA National Championships.
 
5.   The division a team qualifies in at their respective State Championship Tournament will be the division that team must play in at the National Championship Tournament.

QUALIFYING

1. A Florida YBOA State Qualifying tournament is any YBOA sanctioned tournament in Florida held between January 1 - May 31, 2009.

2. All Girls Division 1 and 2 teams must participate in at least 1 Florida State Qualifying Tournaments to be eligible to participate in the Florida YBOA State Championships.
 
3. All Girls Division 1 and 2 teams must have at least 10 Florida YBOA State rankings points to be eligible to participate in the Florida YBOA State Championships.

4. Teams that place 1st-4th in the Florida YBOA State Championships will automatically earn a bid to the YBOA National Championships. Additional teams will qualify for the YBOA National Championships based on a sliding scale. The scale is determined by the amount of participating teams in an age division.

5. A team may qualify for the YBOA National Championship by placing 1st-4th place in a YBOA Regional Championship Tournament. However, these teams must participate in the Florida YBOA Girls State Championship and will advance to the YBOA National Championship regardless of finish.
