Boys 13U AA Select Baseball - The Come Back Kids Win Again!
Congratulations to Boys 13U AA Select Baseball - Twice Champions!
First they were NTI Champions. Now they've won the Travel Sports Tournament June 8-10th, winning all four of their games.
The Mustangs won 1st place in NTI with a record of 12-2 on the season. And then they won 1st place in Triple Crown tournament. They came back in 3 games.. From 5-0 and 6-0 in the last 2 innings of Sundays single elimination games. Coach Bill Adkins says "I am very proud of the boys!" MORE>>>

Grapevine Crush 10U All Stars Win the NRGSL All Star Tournament
The Grapevine Crush 10U All Stars won the NRGSL All Star Tournament this past weekend. Our girls went undefeated in pool and bracket play and beat the Colleyville Red 10U All Stars in the final 8-2. The team is led by Sonny Suttles, Coach of the Grapevine Crush

7U All Stars come back from 2 runs down and 2 outs in the last inning to advance to finals. Finish 2nd in a great weekend of baseball.

Congratulations to the Grapevine Stampede of the Coach Pitch Division, coached by Jason Bentley, who finished the season with a 12-1 record. Refer to the Photo Album for some full size pictures.
GBSA's Own 12U Select Baseball Team is Top Ranked!
The 12U Mustangs, coached by Bill Adkins, finished as the number one ranked team in Texas and number two in the five-state region covered by Youth Travel Sports. Below is a snapshot of the TYS website. The Mustangs finished well in regular season play with 11 wins and 5 losses, just 2 games out of first place, and out-scoring their opponents by 56 runs. The Mustangs also fared well in all in 5 tournaments this year, most notably second in the season opener and third in the recent World Series held in Grapevine and surrounding communities.
The total points accumulated in all their play this season earned the Mustangs their number one ranking.
Congratulations to the 10UAA Mustangs
Back in June, the Mustangs, coached by Dan Freeman won the Legends Summer Championship Tournament on June 18-19. Check out the photo album for details.

11U Major Mustangs Win Triple Crown Tournament

Congratulations to the 11U Major Mustangs for winning the Triple Crown and a berth to the World Series in Colorado! The Mustangs were one of 18 11U-D1 teams competing. The Mustangs beat the Buzz 2-1 in the championship game Sunday night. For a full size image look under "Photo Albums".

To honor our former youth baseball and softball members GBSA presented two senior high school students with scholarships to the college of their choice later this year. Please join us in sincerely congratulating Grapevine High School students Thomas Slack and Heather Atkeisson, shown with Cynthia and Billy Powers, who dedicated the scholarships in memory of their son Joshua.
