2011 GSBL Game Schedule
What managers must do before & during the season.
Print this page out for easy reference.
Preparing for the season:
1. Check out the League Information section.
2. Print out your league by-laws and be familiar with them and keep them with you for all games.
3. Print out Article VIII (Manager’s Responsibilities) and Article X (Player’s Responsibilities), know them and make sure your players know them.
4. Make sure that all of your players register with the league. Signed registration forms with proof of age must be submitted to the President prior to stepping onto the field to play.
Before the season:
1. Put all players on your team roster (including number).
This is step by step...very easy.
- Click "Administration" from the Main Menu.
- Enter your Username & Password, then click "Login".
- IMPORTANT: Click "Teams" from the Team Setup Menu (left side menu).
- Click "Players" (on the right side, small print).
- Fill in the first name, last name and number (if known) for each player.
- Save your changes by clicking "Save".
- All rostered players must be here before any game participation.
2. Enter home game schedule
While in Admin.
- Click "Schedules” under team setup on left hand side.
- Click on “Multiple Games/Single Team".
- Click on “Schedule" Enter Date, Time, H/A, Opponent and Location.
- Save your changes by clicking "Save".
Before each game:
1. Be sure to bring the following to your game:
- Umpire fees of $85. ($150 for double headers)
- Line-up card.
- Copy down umpire information (name/phone)
- Scorebook.
- Home team supplies baseballs.
- Any equipment that you supply.
After each game:
1. Input the game score, summaries and boxscore.
This is step by step...it is actually very easy to do.
- Click "Administration" from the Main Menu.
- Enter your Username & Password, then click "Login".
- Click "Game Results" from the Setup Menu (left side menu).
- Click "Game Results".
- Find your game and click "Edit".
- THE HOME TEAM ENTERING STATS MUST: Fills in the linescore....runs per inning, total runs, total hits, total errors FOR BOTH TEAMS.
- THE HOME TEAM ENTERING STATS MUST: Changes "Game Status" to Completed.
- THE HOME TEAM ENTERING STATS MUST: Updates the "Innings Played selection box".
- WINNING TEAM MUST: Fills in the game headlines in the "Headline" box.
- WINNING TEAM SHOULD & LOSING TEAM CAN: Fill in the game summary in the "Summary" box.
- BOTH TEAMS MUST: Fill in your players game batting statistics (blanks = 0, ord = your batting order).
- Save your changes by clicking "Save Changes".
- Click "Pitching Stats" from the upper dark blue bar.
- BOTH TEAMS MUST: Fill in your players game pitching statistics (blanks = 0, ord = the order of appearance by your pitchers).
- Save your changes by clicking "Save Changes".
- If so desired, click "Defensive Stats" from the upper dark blue bar.
- BOTH TEAMS CAN: Fill in your players game defensive statistics (blanks = 0)
- Save your changes by clicking "Save Changes".
- Click "Logout" from the Admin Menu.
