Here is what the Coaches are saying!
Coach Christine Says…
Hello Girls and welcome to the 2009 Harleysville Eagles Cheerleading Season. My name is Coach Christine and I am very excited to be back again this year. This year I will be the Head Coach for all of the Cheerleading Squads as well as coaching the Varsity Squad. I have lived in the Harleysville area for most of my life. I was a Cheerleader for the Souderton Midgets, Indian Valley Middle School and Souderton Area High School. I was also a gymnast for about 16 years so I have a lot of experience with tumbling and cheer. I have been married for almost 12 years and I have 2 daughters that cheer for the Harleysville Eagles. Mersadie is 11 and will be cheering for the Varsity Squad and Delaney is 7 and will be cheering for the Eaglette Squad this year.
For those of you that are returning this year, welcome back and I am looking forward to bigger and better things. For those of you that will be joining us for the first time this year…welcome to the Harleysville Eagles Cheerleading Team.
Coach Samantha Says…
Hello Girls! I can’t wait to meet all of you! My name is Coach Samantha and I am looking forward to being the JV Coach this year. I am 20 years old and I am full of energy! I have been working at the Indian Valley YMCA as a daycare teacher for 4 years now, I love children!! I have been a fire fighter for the Harleysville Community for 4 years. I coached the Souderton Braves for about 4 years and when I was in school, I was a cheerleader. I am looking forward to a great year!!
Go Eagles!
Coach Brytny Says...
Hello Eagles!! My name is Coach Brytny and I am very excited to get to know all of you this season. I am 19 years old and I started coaching cheerleading with the Harleysville Eagles 3 years ago. My first year I was an assistant and the past 2 years I have been a head coach for the Peeps and Eaglettes. I am a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School Class of 2008 and I’m super excited to start my first year of college in the fall. I am studying to be a broadcast journalist and hope to fulfill my dreams of becoming a sports broadcaster! My family is very dedicated to sports, but most of all, we all love football. We love it so much that we joke and say that when my younger brothers are in the NFL, I will be interviewing them on the sidelines!!
I can not wait to get to know all of you!!! I really hope you have as much fun as I do this season.
