The Arsenal started with a barrage of shots in the first 10 minutes of the game but came up empty. With the Arsenal putting the pressure on, Garden City scored a goal on a fast break. Brendan tied things up before half with a perfectly placed free kick in the top right corner. In the second half Mike V. made 2 key saves and Matt scored 2 goals to give the Arsenal a 3-1 victory.

Smithtown
May 6, 2007 --
The Arsenal move on to the semi’s of The Walbaums Cup with an exciting win over Smithtown. With 17 seconds left in overtime Brian Cruse heads in a corner kick to break a 1-1 tie and send the fans into a frenzy. Next up the Arsenal will play Stonybrook on May 20th.

Jericho
May 12, 2007 --
The Arsenal Beat Jericho 1-0 on a cross by Brendan that deflected off the defense and into the net. Missing there allstar sweeper,the goaltending and defense stepped up to shut down Jericho's offence.

Levittown
May 19, 2007 --
The Arsenal taking care of business against a very good Levittown team in Levittown. Brett opened the scoring with a nice shot from the right wing to get the Arsenal going. Brian scored to go up 2-0 off a corner kick and Nader finished the scoring to give the Arsenal a 3-0 win. Solid defense,great goaltending and a little help from the crossbar kept the Blue Thunder off the board. Next up Semi finals of the Walbaums cup 5/20/07 against Stony brook.

Massapequa Tournament
The Massapequa Arsenal continue to play outstanding soccer by winning the Massapequa Tournament in the Platinum Division.The Arsenal beat Suffolk Counties top team EI Elite 3-0 to win the tournament and go
undefeated 5 wins and 0 loses.Coach Joe talks about team work all year long and the Arsenal could not have done a better job then they did this weekend at working together.

Spring 07
The Arsenal start off the Spring with a comeback win over the HBC Arsenal in the first round of the Walbaums Cup. Nick Christensen scored in the first half to go into the break down 2-1.In the second half Mass. came out strong and Brendan tied the score with a nice shot in the right corner.Matt Scorce Scored the game winner and Brendan sealed the victory with a penalty kick with 5 minutes to go.With Mike in goal and a solid defence in front of him the Arsenal move on to the next round with another outstanding team effort.
