Women's Basketball Alumni
The Northgate Women's Basketball Program has a rich tradition of not only winning but also the Broncos have seen their share of players take their game to the college level. Below are a list of players since 2005 that have continued their careers in college. Please click on the respected school link to track these famous Broncos through their college career.

Haley Dahlgard - 2007 - Dennison University
Haley Dahlgard played Varsity Basketball for the Broncos from 2003-2007. The soft spoken Dahlgard did most of her talking on the court. Haley was a 3 time All League Player and the League MVP following the 2006-2007, which included a DFAL Scoring Title. Haley also helped the Broncos capture their first League Championship in 6 years following the 2005-2006 Season.
Haley will be most remembered for her 3 point shooting and scoring ability. Haley left Northgate as the Schools All Time Leading scorer and 3 pointers made. Haley ended her career with 1416 career points. Haley also holds the single game scoring record with 36 points vs. Ygnacio Valley. While at Northgate Haley's Broncos went an impressive 88-26.
Haley is now attending Dennison University in Ohio where she led her team to their conference tournament championship and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. Dahlgard started 27 of the 30 games as a freshmen scoring nearly 10 points per contest while being among the team leaders in all the major offensive categories. Haley was selected as the Conference "Newcomer" of the year.

Claire Ely - 2006 - University of Puget Sound
Claire Ely graced the Bronco floor for 4 seasons, 2002-2006. Claire was an immediate impact player for the Broncos as a starting point guard her freshman season. While at Northgate the Broncos won 87 games with only 19 losses. Claire was a two time captain of the Broncos and a 4 time All League player, including being named League MVP following her senior season. That year she led the Broncos to a DFAL Championship.
Claire left Northgate as Northgate's All Time Leader in both Assists and Scoring. The scoring record was broken the following season by Haley Dahlgard but the assist record still stands today. However, a lot of what Claire did for the Broncos did not show up on a stat sheet. Claire was a great leader both on the floor and off the floor. Following her Sr year Claire also Received the prestigious Eric Griffen Award that is presented annually to the school's most rounded scholar athlete.
Claire has moved on to the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wa where she has led the Loggers to Back to Back NWC Championships, including a trip to the Elite 8 following the 2006-2007 Season.

Julia Thomas - 2005 - Wellseley University
Julia Thomas played varsity basketball 3 seasons for the Broncos graduating in 2005. Julia was an All League player following her senior season. As a captain Julia was a great leader and one of the hardest workers to ever wear a Bronco uniform. In her 3 years the Broncos went an amazing 87-19. Julia was a great rebounder and often took a lot of heat off of the Bronco posts.
