The majority of select baseball coaches and instructors have experience playing baseball, but do not be mistaken just because a coach has played organized and/or professional baseball, this alone doesn’t necessarily make them a good instructor. All coaches at Roland Baseball Academy have played college and/or have played at the professional level. Roland Baseball Academy has a diverse group of coaches with all levels of coaching experience ranging from College down to 7-year-old Select Baseball Teams. Our goal is to develop your son/daughter into more than just a great ball player. The foundation of Roland’s Baseball Academy coaching philosophy is Trust, Excellence, Accountability, and Maturity. Just as the first letter of each word forms the word TEAM, we teach our athletes that the key to being a great team player is found in their commitment to these individual tenets.

Whether your son is preparing for league ball or college, his development as an individual will determine how successful he will become. Roland Baseball Academy will help your son to hone his strengths, but more importantly, identify and strengthen his shortcomings. This can only be accomplished by giving each and every player the individual attention they deserve. That’s why we only give individual lessons. That’s why we carry the minimum number of players per select team. That’s why each team has a professional coach who is committed to coaching. Our focus has never been on winning. Winning is just a natural result of developing great players.

Roland's Baseball Academy has alliances with top scouting and recruiting organizations. Our tournament schedule is geared around showcasing our players talents to the top scouts and universities in the country.

The wonderful thing about baseball is that the lessons learned seem to always translate to the other areas of a ballplayers life. We strive to develop great ball players and even better human beings. We teach through example, with the first lesson being TRUST. Our coaches will always conduct themselves in a professional manner. They will be completely honest while coaching and will expect the same level of trust to be mirrored by the players. We understand that EXCELLENCE is not winning. It is only achieved as the result of sacrifice and perseverance. ACCOUNTABILITY is taught on and off the field. Your son will learn to be responsible for his duties on the field, at the plate or in the dugout. He will also learn to be accountable to his team through his attitude, behavior, and effort. Finally we expect your son to show MATURITY as a baseball player, as well as, an individual. He will learn to handle all baseball situations with calm focus and poise. Roland's Baseball Academy program is not for everyone. But, if your son is willing to work, we can show him how to unlock the hidden greatness that is in every player.
