
10- Note any case of boarding or checking from behind will apply to the same rules as fighting. No exceptions.
11- Any penalty given due to abuse of referee will result in the same rules as for fighting. All of our on ice referees should be goodwill ambassadors of the game. If you have any legitimate problems with any official, advise your captain to notify the league.
12- The league committee will review all major penalties before being officially assessed. The league committee has the right to overturn a ruling if sufficient evidence indicates it.
13- All fighting, boarding, checking from behind, intent to injure, and abuse towards officials or time keepers automatically result in a 10 minute game misconduct, and suspension. If this occurs twice expulsion from the league.
14- Thai world Hockey League reserves the right to deny/expel any person or players that have shown misconduct/action on or off the ice for any reason unfit by the league. Any player in the past will not be allowed to play in the Thai World Hockey League unless reviewed and approved by the league office.
15- To determine the final standings for the season and the top seed for playoffs the Win/Loss/Tie/ Shut Out point system and the tie breaker will be used in order as follows:
-Most points in a season
-Most wins
-Head to Head Wins
-
Lowest team penalties in minutes (PIM) (We want to promote sportsmanship)
-goal differential
-Coin toss
Please note Win =2 points, Tie = 1 point,
Shut out = 1 point (Yes the team gets an extra point for a SO)
16- Playoff Rules: three 17 minute running time periods with last 3 minutes stop time if less than 2 goal difference. For overtime a 5 minute running time 4 on 4 format. After that a 3 man shoot out then 2, then 1 until eventual winner. Teams must use different shooters for the duration of shoot out. Their will be a Championship and 3rd Place game. During the playoffs each player will start fresh with penalty minutes. If a player accumulates more than 10 penalty minutes or three penalties in the first playoff game they will automatically be suspended for the next game.
17- There will be no refunds for players or teams suspended or expelled or injured from the League or players that leave for any reason.
18- Failure to serve a suspension will cause original suspension to double and forfeiture of any game played while on suspension.
19- All team must have matching uniform and wear jersey number assigned to in the beginning of season. If forget jersey please notify score keeper so can record accurate stats.
20- No children are allowed in the player’s bench or on the ice before, during or after a Thai World hockey event.
21- All players must comply with each individual rink’s rules and regulations. Any fines billed to the league will be billed to the team (s) responsible. In the event assessed damage is not resolved to the satisfaction of the rink and or Thai World Hockey League, scheduled games will be cancelled until resolved. These games
will be considered a forfeit.
22- SEXUAL HARRASSMENT OR DISCRIMNATION OF ANY TYPE WILL
NOT BE TOLERATED. If you feel this has occurred, document the misconduct Include time, place person(s) involved, and witnesses if possible.
(A) Sexual harassment or discrimination, if proven will result in a written warning For the first offense. Any additional occurrences will result in permanentexpulsion from the league.
23- Waiver. All players who play on a Thai World Hockey League team agree to abide by the Waiver of Liability for the Thai World Hockey League.
Last To Sum Up Penalty Minute Rules·During the eight game regular season each player will be allowed 33 minutes worth of penalty minutes. If a player accumulates more than 33 penalty minutes before the 8th game they will be suspended for one game. If the player before the 8th game accumulates more than 42 the player will be suspended and additional three games.
·If a player receives three penalty minutes in a game an automatic game ejection will occur as well as a one game suspension.
·Every Major Penalty is a game ejection and will be reviewed by the ruling commitee to determine suspension. Note each player will be assessed ten minutes to his/her thirty-three minute penalty limit. If a player receives a Major penalty or accumulates three penalties during the last regular season game the player will be suspended for the first playoff game
·If a player in the last regular season game goes over the thirty-three penalty minutes or forty-two penalty minute limit due to a two or less minor penalties the player will BE STILL ELGIBILE FOR THE PLAYOFFS
·A Major Penalty will be assessed to a player who draws blood to another player. However if the referee sees it as accidental the player will be only given a game ejection and a 6 minute Penalty. Ten minutes will be added to his league penalty minute limit. If this occurs twice a 2 game suspension will be issued.
·Any intent to injure another player through boarding, checking from behind or slashing will automatically be a major penalty and three game suspension just like the fighting rule.
·Any abuse towards official will be treated as a Major Penalty
