In the U-8 and above divisions you will need a parent to help run the lines to indicate when a ball is out of play.  The ball needs to go completely over the line to be considered out of play or a goal.  If the ball is on the line it is still in play.  The side flag ref is not allowed to "coach".  All players, coaches, and parents need to be a minimum of 2 yards away from the side touchlines and 15 yards away from the goal lines when practical.  This distance will allow the side ref to have a better view of the field and also protect the players and fans from getting trampled when the play is near the sideline or throw-in occur.

Thanks for your cooperation.  Enjoy the game and allow the players to have fun playing the game.
