Nassau Punishers
Key Players:

#11 QB- Pocket passer. Fairly accurate. Moves well in the pocket. Has the arm to throw anywhere on the field.

#10 QB/WR- Lines up at QB and WR. Pure athlete. The runner of the QB position. Can throw the football. Expect a lot of options and QB sweep when he is in.

#12 QB- very similar to #11.

#19 WR- Big WR with speed. Runs solid routes. Decent hands.

#21 WR- Deep threat. Stretches the field. Hauled in the only offensive score against the Spartans.

#9 FS- Travis is a ballhawk at FS. A major threat when he gets his hands on the ball. Must get hats on him on kick and punt returns.

Play Above notes:
Speed option- #10 lines up at QB and runs speed option. They will use his running ability to boost the running game. We must play disciplined at the point of attack and pursue backside. 11 hats to the ball.

#10 will run speed option and then pitch to the wideout on the reverse. We must not over pursue backside. Stay home then when they commit pursue on angles downfield.

The Punishers Defense is built around a big tough defensive line and athletic secondary. Their crown jewel is their free safety Travis Jinx #9. When going vertical we must be able to influence his actions. His ability to cover sideline to sideline allows their corners to be physical. Running the football is not only a must but it is imperative. Offensive line must control the line of scrimmage. The QB's must read the blitzes presnap since most of their calls are made on the field. Check the protections and go thru your reads. Tight ends and backs will be key.
