success in athletics, education, business ventures, and leadership.

Garrett competed as an all-around athlete in youth athletics with a specific focus in football which led to an opportunity to earn a scholarship to Florida State University. Garrett played football under the legendary coach Bobby Bowden during the perennial years of Florida State Football; which saw back to back years of top 3 finishes in the nation. Garrett played strong safety and free safety; he lettered in varsity football at FSU and received a Cotton Bowl ring prior to severely injuring his knee and ending his career.
While at FSU Garrett graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminology along with specialized certificates in Corrections and Security. During his senior year he earned a paid internship position with Orlando Police Department and was selected as the sole intern from among thousands of applicants. Garrett graduated in the top 3 of a highly competitive Police
Academy and went on to become a Police Officer beginning his career outside of Orlando in some of the worst crime ridden areas of FL. Later Garrett transferred to Fort Collins CO Police Department. During his career he received several commendations, was involved in elite task forces and spent time working with the SWAT Team. Garrett has been integral in developing and leading numerous business ventures over the last decade; including positions administrating and leading over 300 employees with a multimillion
dollar budget. Garrett's latest position was the National Director of Sales for a marketing and customer solutions company; where he developed and led all aspects of a national sales initiative, including contracts with companies like Denver Zoo, Bemidji State University, and other large organizations. Garrett has combined lessons learned competing at a Division 1 sports program with years of business development and leadership to become an effective communicator, leader, instructor, and coach.

She earned several commendations during her career. In 1996 Kay took a leave of absence to try out for the USA Team Handball Olympic squad, a sport she had never played, and earned an alternate spot on the Atlanta Olympic Team. Kay has combined her years of determination, encouraging spirit, and a "can do" attitude to become a high achiever in many endeavors.
