Coach Allen is passionate about developing student athletes and advancing the sport of basketball. He created the annual Art Turner Memorial (ATM) tipoff showcase. Coach Allen also created the D.C. Metro College Showcase. The Showcase is sanctioned by the NCAA and gives players an opportunity to demonstrate their basketball skills in front of college coaches and scouts. The annual event is one of the top college recruiting showcases on the east coast. During the summer months, Coach Allen organizes the St. Paul VI Girls’ & Boys’ Basketball Camps. The camps teach basketball fundamentals and advanced game skills to children of all playing levels. More than 5000 children have participated in the camps the last 21 years.
