Tournament Eligibility: All team must consist of players from a single Little League, Cal Ripken, Youth Assoc., etc. No AAU, Club or Select teams please.
Tournament format: We will be using the pool play format as we have in previous years. The 12yr old tournament uses the 50/70 format.
The tournament entry fee is $400 per team. Entry will be on a first come first serve basis. Check must accompany entry form to be included in the tournament. Fee is non-refundable once you team is placed in the tournament. Awards will be given to 1st thru 4th place.

My name is Jarrod Cohen and I am the tournament director for the Annual DJ Farrar Memorial Baseball tournament. This year, the 12th Annual tournament will be held from Monday July 7th, 2014 to Sunday July 13th, 2014 and is located in Montgomery Township, PA at the Rosetwig Baseball Complex in North Wales, PA. We have hosted teams from as close as neighboring townships to ones in Maryland and New Jersey and are willing to accommodate schedules.

For those who are new to hearing about this tournament, we also have a skills competition and BBQ during the tournament to add some festivities to the games. We have a lot of giveaways and its always a good time. This year, we will be holding the skills competition in junction with an opening day ceremonies. This will take place on Monday July 7th, 2014 beginning at 6:00 pm and a schedule of the events is attached on this sheet. We used to run this portion of the tournament on Saturday but due to the long day, we thought an opening ceremonies and skills will be less tiring and more festive!

2014 10u Baseball Tournament
June 6th, 7th, & 8th

The Muhlenberg Township Athletic Association will be holding a 10u baseball tournament for 9 and 10 year-old players June 6th thru 8th. All teams must consist of players that are full time in the applicant’s league or intramural. Independent or AAU teams cannot participate in the MTAA tournament.

The tournament will either be double elimination or pool play format. This will be determined by the number of teams participating.  Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Games will be played at the M.T.A.A. complex & the Laureldale Playground. The Laureldale location is one and one-half blocks from the M.T.A.A. complex.

Individual trophies will be awarded to the top two teams, with the first place team receiving a team trophy as well. The third place team will receive individual medals.

The registration for this tournament will be $375.00/team entered. If your organization has more than one team, both may enter. However, a player cannot be on the roster of both squads.  All teams must be registered by May 15, 2014.  Tournament rules and schedule will be mailed to your organization contact person approximately two weeks prior to tournament date.

General Info:
No dogs, smoking/tobacco, alcohol or grills allowed on the premises.  Overnight parking is not permitted at the complex.

Teams should be Cal Ripken or Little League affiliated.  AAU teams will be considered to fill up a bracket, if necessary.

All 8U/9U/10U divisions will play 46/60 field dimensions.  All 11U/12U will play 50/70.

Here are the dates for our tournaments this year and a question regarding interest in 8U/9U.

12U will be May 30th-June 1st and will most likely be limited to six teams.
That same weekend we will also have an 8U or 9U on our other two fields. Anyone interested in either 8U or 9U?
10U will be July 11th-13th and will feature both A and B brackets. 
Paperwork is not prepared as of yet, but please respond if you'd like us to hold a spot, especially for the 8U/9U/12U, since those will all probably be limited to 6 teams.  12U filled up really fast last year, so don't wait.
Also, we are looking for B tournaments for our B team to enter.  If you have a B bracket in your 10U tournaments, please send info.

The Bensalem Ramblers will be hosting The Bensalem Spring Tune Up Tournament in March 2014.  This will provide an excellent opportunity to knock the rust off prior to the start of your season.
The tournament dates will be  29th and 30th of March at the Bensalem Ramblers complex on Hulmeville Road and the Bensalem Township Community Park at Richlieu and Galloway Rds in Bensalem.  We will have a total of seven fields in use.  Six Indoor batting cages will also be available for BP prior to all games.
 
There will be a 9U, 10U, 11U and a 12U Bracket each with 10 teams.  At this time there are a total of fourteen spots available (9u- 4, 10u - 3, 11u - 3 and 12u - 4).  All entry fees are due by March 8th.  The schedule will be published on March 10th (Provided all entry fees are received).   The tournament rules will be published the last week of February.   For the most part the tournament will be governed by Suburban  League Travel rules, with some tournament specific rules added. (ie. pitching limitation will be by innings pitched).

All events will be pool play format, with two play-in games, and all teams making the playoffs.
 
Our Diamond League Tournament is only open to Berks County Diamond League teams until we reach 8 teams OR March 16th.  If after March 16th we do not have 8 Diamond League teams, we will fill the remaining slots on a first come basis.
 
Our 10U tournament will have a 'B' bracket if enough 'B' teams sign up.  If not enough B team register for their own bracket, we will ensure they get a game against another B team instead of only A teams.
 
Our tournaments are typically limited to town teams, meaning all players must be from the same school district.  If your team is an exception to this rule, please contact me before registering.
 
The 12U tournament in June is technically a 12'B' tour.  Our Diamond League is the 'A' tour. 
 
12U Diamond is played 53/75, open pitching and stealing.  Balks are called.  Wood Bats ONLY.
10U is played 46/60.  No breaking pitches, cannot leave base until ball crosses plate, 2.25" bats only.
12U in June is played 50/70.  No breaking pitches, cannot leave base until pitcher releases, 2.25" bats only.
 
All tournaments are officiated by uniformed & trained umpires.

Coventry Little League, in Pottstown, will be hosting the Memorial Day Rally on the River 11U Baseball Tournament in 2014.  The tournament will be held from Thursday May 22nd, 2014 to Sunday May 25th, 2014 at the Wampler Baseball Complex located at 333 S. Penn St. in Pottstown, PA  19465.  For those unfamiliar, the  Coventry Little League facilities offer two 50 x 70 fields, both with lights to host night games, onsite concession stand and restrooms, ample parking and press box with PA systems.

All Star Baseball Academy is set for the Indoor Tournament Season! Each tournament will consist of up to 10 teams, each playing a minimum of three games. Games will last 6 innings or 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The rules for the tournaments will be as follows:

• Mercy rule for all games-12 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings, 8 runs after 5 innings
• 9 & 10 & 11U tournaments will be 46' mound and 60' bases (9 players on the field)
• Teams must submit full rosters, waiver forms, and insurance after registering
• Trophies will be awarded to the top 2 teams. The cost per tournament is $575.00
