Team Nitro Long Island Fastpitch

Team Nitro 2011 is a team of players born in 2011 who have developed into one of the premier travel ball teams from Long Island. They are playing a very agressive schedule of tournament both on Long Island and off. Thier mission is to continue to play and improve in the best tournaments in the Notrh East. 

The team is head coached by Anthony 'Coach Caz' Casalino. He is regarded as one of the best fastpitch coaches and instructors on LI bring his 20 years of coaching travel ball experience to a team at this level. He has coached at every level of travel ball and is currently the Head Coach of the 18U Gold team that places players into colleges to play softball and more importantly get an education. He is also the co-owner of 88 Stitches Fastpitch Training Center located in Deer Park LI, NY.

Coach Gabrielle Casalino, the daughter of Coach Caz is one of the Assistant Coaches for this team. She played four years of softball at Bentley University where she was the captian of the team both her Junior and Senior Years. 

This team will participate in an all tournament schedule both on and off Long Island for the 2023/2024 seasons.
