    Bay Area Giants look to face off against the SF Seagulls on Friday 7/20 @ BIG REC

    - The Bay Area Giants will pick up wins due to forfeit by Folsom Pioneers. Games was originally planned this Sunday at the baoboa park, San Francisco.

    The Bay Area Giants needs to finish strong for possible playoff appearance starting from a week after. "We are 12-8 in 2007 league game and have to see what happens in a few days to the other league play, but we stil have a chance to advance toi Play-offs" said Coach Elsner.

    Bay Area Giants Takes Folsom Pioneers on Saturday June 3rd

    - The Bay Area Giants (4-3) enjoyed strong weekend against Oakland Expos and San Luis Obispo blues. It was the first win against Blues since we annually start facing each other for their season opening series. Now, the Giants is ready to excel and play our baseball with strong outcomes during this Saturday double header against Folsom Pioneers at Folsom High School. The first game is scheduled to start 11 a.m.

    All players and staff must report to the Folsom High School Baseball field by 10 a.m. The direction to the field can be found through this driving direction link. City of Folsom is located at east of Sacramento and it could take approximately two hours by driving from San Francisco.


    Best of the West Tournament is up

    June 19, 2007
    - The Bay Area Giants is heading to The Best of the West Tournament from coming Thursday. The trournament opening is against tournament host Maxim Yankees from 8 p.m. at Santa Clara University. Every player must be ready to warm up by 6 p.m. The direction to the SCU is here. After the tournament opening day on June 21st, double header game against San Jose Tigers is held on next day June 22nd starting from 9:00 a.m. over San Jose State University Baseball filed followed by a game against Humboldt Crabs starting approximately at 12:30 p.m. The direction to the SJSU is here.     "We have minimum of four games over three days and certainly hope to advance the final round next week. It is important for everyone to enjoy playing against competitive teams and excute every play" said coach Elsner. The Bay Area Giants (8-8 as of last Saturday) is looking for quality comeptition and will have a battle against Marin Merchants after the tournament next week.


    Busy Week is Ahead of Bay Area Giants

    June 11, 2007
    - The Bay Area Giants will have very busy week ahead with five games from Friday till Sunday; Marin Merchants on Friday from 5 p.m. at College of Marin, Solano Mudcats (Double Header) on Saturday from 11 a.m. at Will C. Wood High School, and San Francisco rival Seagulls (Double Header) on Sunday from 11 a.m. at Balboa park respectively. Then, the Best of the West Tournament is waiting next week.

    Friday is our conference game against Marin Merchants. "We need to keep competing each game and give everything every play" said Coach Elsner. Bay Area Giants also needs to bounce back to San Francisco rival San Francisco Seagulls. In the last meet, Giants lost with 5-4 despite early runs in the 2nd inning.

Every players should be ready to compete with our conference match by 4 p.m. The direction to Saturday game over Vacaville on Saturday is here. Sunday is at Balboa park against Seagulls Double Header starting from 11 a.m. Everybody must be mentally and physically ready for battle by 10 a.m. for double header.


    Chevys Fundrasing Night on Monday June 11th from 4pm-10pm

    - Bay Area Giants will host fundrasing event at Chevys over Stonestown Galleria San Francisco on Friday June 11th 2007 between 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please invite your friends and family to Chevy and simply present this form to your host.     Crucial Double Header This Weekend

    - The Bay Area Giants just got out of 7 games in 5 days last week and now look forward to battling against two quality teams in Bay Area. On Saturday, the Bay Area Giants will visit Navato Knicks over San Marin High School. The games are set to start 11 a.m. and all players should be ready to compete by 10 a.m.

    Congratulations to the Bay Area Giants IRON MEN who played 7 games in 5 days and you also competing against tough D1 Baseball in the Central Coast Tournament. Coach Elsner Says "Baseball is not for everyone, if you are not going to make the commitment at this high level, then re-think your desire to play at the next level, excuses are statements that hold you accountable to your actions".

    David Parshall threw NO-HITTER COMPLETE GAME on last Sunday

    June 5, 2007
    - The Bay Area Giants (5-4 overall, 4-2) enjoyed the extremely successful game against Folsom Pioneers from David Parshall. Despite throwing 7 inning game and 2 K, Parshall completed his NO-HITTER game with 82 pitches and collected his second win in this summer at the second game of double header on last Sunday over Folsom.

    It was the last day for our reliable SS Yuta Miyamoto. Miyamoto joined Bay Area Giants since 2004 and he was one of our reliable players in the diamond. He made an immediate impact to the team and numerous individual players. "We certainly miss him" Coach Elsner said after the game. Bay Area Giants thank Yuta Miyamoto for his performance and dedication as well as wish for continuing success in the baseball career and his life.

    The Bay Area Giants lost the first game with 8-3. Anthony Edward had the first loss for the season and looks for his second win in next appearance.



    End of Summer Regular Season, Bay Area Giants Needs to Continue Playing Strong

    - The Bay Area Giants will come back to play a game against Seagulls on Friday. Maxim Yankees on Saturday is scheduled to be a double header over San Jose State University from 11 a.m. Folsom Pioneers on Sunday is also scheduled to a be double header over Balboa park from 11 a.m.

    This weekend is the last regular season series this 2007 season. The Bay Area Giants needs to finish strong for possible playoff appearance starting from a week after. "This week is going t be very important to wrap up our season with tremendous success for 2007 summer" said Coach Elsner.

    Giants participates NBC Central California Tournament at Santa Maria

    - Bay Area Giants has scheduled National Baseball Congress Central California State Tounament hosted at Santa Maria Indians between July 5th through July 8th. Also, Giants participates Best of the West tournament hosted by Maxim Yankees over Santa Clara University between June 21st and June 24th. These two tournaments will be great addition to the 2007 schedule.

    NBC Central Coast State Tournament and Much More

    July 7, 2007
    - The Bay Area Giants is now playing at NBC Central CoastState Tournament over San Luis Obispo. On July 5, 2007, The Bay Area Giants came close to pick up a win. However, the Outlaws scored 4 runs in the 6th inning to overcome a 5-2 and beat the Bay Area Giants on Thursday evening. Kyle Cowger from the Outlaws had the big hit with a 2 run double to left field in the 6th inning. Danny Rico went 2-4 with 2 RBI and C Jordan Wesley went 2-4 with 2 RBI. Anthony Edwards took the loss with 7 inning effort.

    San Francisco Seagulls Friday and Sac Scortch Sunday

    - The Bay Area Giants (5-4 overall, 4-2) is looking for another strong weekend against two quality teams, San Francisco Seagulls and Sacramento Scorch. The first pitch against Seagulls on Friday June 8th at Balboa Park is 5 p.m. Every player need to be ready by 4 p.m. for the battle to take ourselves to the next level and keep us to be up. The San Francisco Seagulls recorded a 20-11 season in last year and lost against Sacramento Scorch for the season opening series with 8-16 and 3-4 respectively last weekend.     The Bay Area Giants then travel east to Sacramento to face Sacramento Scorch with double header format on Sunday June 10th. Scorch is in Horizon Air Summer Series, Engelken Division and they are a good team to enjoy playing against. The first game is starting at 11:00 a.m. Everybody must to be focused for these crucial games by 10:00 a.m. over Casa Roble Fundamental High School at Orangevale, CA.     Targetting this Friday and Sunday, Then Big Trip to South

    - The Bay Area Giants is playing a sigle game on this Friday and a double header game on Sunday. The game on Friday against Marin Merchants at College of Marin is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. The games on Sunday against Sacrament Legends at Bic Rec are scheduled to start 11 a.m. Every player must be ready to battle aginst these quality teams at least one hour prior to the scheduled starting time.

    After the weekend, the Bay Area Giants is back in action on Wednesday July 4th, Independence Day. Please make your plan accordingly as we stayed down San Luis Obispo to play numerous baseball games. The detail for this trip will be updated after the Sunday game so please check back here.


    The Team Raffle Tickets Need To Be Turned In By June 30th for Drawings

    - The Bay Area Giants (3-1) in this season as the first year Non-Profit-Organization is looking for our raffle ticket drawing on June 30th, 2007. Every raffle needs to be turned in to Head Coach George Elsner by June 30th, 2007 for eligible drawings.     League Game & SLO Trip

    May 26-27th, 2007
    - Bay Area Giants prepare to play against the Oak Expos at Big Rec this Saturday. The Giants then travel to SLO for Memorial Day Weekend. Please bring both Gray & White Baseball Pants. If you have not done so, turn in your league fee's also car pool and room list will be distrubted at the game on Saturday. Announced by Head Coach George Elsner. All Roster Players Please Bring Your Remaining Team Fee On May 26th.

    Remenber to prepare yourself for the up-coming games. 5 games in three days, you got to love baseball.



    Memorial Day Weekend Battle at San Luis Obispo

    May 25th, 2008
    - The Bay Area Giants will visit San Luis Obispo Blues for their 2008 Opening Season forth straight year. The SLO Blues lead the series 1-9 overall. Please bring both Gray & White Baseball Pants. If you have not done so, turn in your league fee's also carpool and room list will be distrubted at the game on Friday announced by Head Coach George Elsner. All Roster Players Please Bring Your Remaining Team Fee On June 1st.

    The three game series at blues in Sinsheimer Park is scheduled at 6:05pm on Sunday May 25th and 12:15pm/3:00pm on Monday, Memorial Day, May 26th.
