WE DID IT!! THE GIRLS REALLY ENJOYED THE SEASON.
EVERYONE SEEMED VERY ENERGETIC & WILLING TO LEARN. CHAPEL GROVE REALLY LOOKS FOWARD TO WATCHING GIRLS SOFTBALL GROW IN THIS COMMUNITY AGAIN.
THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM TO IMPROVE - WE WILL BE TALKING TO COACHES TO SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE TO IMPROVE GIRLS SOFTBALL PROGRAM FOR THE 2009 SEASON.
ALL OF THE GIRLS WERE NEW TO SOFTBALL & SOME OF THEM REALLY STEPPED UP TO THE PLATE. EVERY GAME WE PLAYED - WE REALLY IMPROVED OUR SKILL LEVEL & TO WATCH A GROUP OF KIDS THAT PICK UP ON THE GAME THAT QUICKLY - THAT' EXCITING STUFF !!
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP COACH IN THE 2009 SEASON - PLEASE LET US KNOW. SOFTBALL IN OUR AREA HAS BEEN ON HOLD - THE FEEDER ORGANIZATIONS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL ARE JUST NOT THERE.
WE WANT TO TEACH THE GIRLS THAT WANT TO PLAY SOFTBALL - THE SKILL LEVEL NEEDED TO MAKE THE MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM WHEN READY.
