CYO REGISTRATION FOR 2012-13 SCHOOL YEAR
 
A.   CYO ATHLETIC EVENTS
 
1.  CONFERENCE EVENTS - Flag Football, Girls Volleyball, Boys & Girls Basketball, Boys Volleyball, Girls Softball, Boys & Girls Soccer
 
2.  COMPETITION EVENTS - Cheerleading, Songleading, Golf, Track & Field, Bowling, Cross Country
 
B.   REGISTRATION DEADLINE DATES
 
Prior to each Conference and Competition Event, there will be a Deadline Date by which any school interested in participating must be registered.  Registration consists of a Registration Form (see below) and a Registration Fee.  No Registration Form, Roster and/or no Registration Fee means no participation.  No exceptions.  The Registration Deadline Dates are as follows:
 
FRI. March 1st for Boys Volleyball A, B, C level
 
Registration Deadline Dates for Competition Events will be posted in advance of each event.
 

C. REGISTRATION FEES - CONFERENCE EVENTS

 

 

Admin Fee: A $35 fee is required for all schools that participate in CYO. 

 

Must be paid by October 1, 2012.

 

Option I: Annual Payment

 

Covers participation for all sports at every level: 1 Varsity, Unlimited B/C teams.

 

Financial Levels 1-4:    $1,000 per school year

Financial Levels 5-7:    $800 per school year

Financial Levels 8-10:  $600 per school year

 

Must be paid by October 1, 2012.

 

Option I: Pay By Sport

 

Varsity Level - $100 per team (only one team allowed per sport)

B Level - $50 per team (No limit to number of teams allowed per sport)

C Level - $50 per team (No limit to number of teams allowed per sport)

 

There will be no Cap amount with Option II.  Participation fees may exceed Annual Payment option as listed above. 

 

Facility Fees:  If schools play in a conference centralized by CYO, each team is responsible for a $75 facility fee. This fee is paid to CYO not the High School location.

 

Fees do not include Soccer Registration.
 

 

PLEASE NOTE UNPAID BALANCES FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO REGISTRATION IS ACCEPTED FOR 2012-2013

 


If a school registers and fails to field a team, a season withdrawal penalty of $100 for Varsity level team and $50 for a B or C level team will be assessed.

D.  REGISTRATION FEES - COMPETITION EVENTS
 
Schools must pay a per team or per individual amount.
 

Fee structure will be posted prior to each event.

 
E.  PRESEASON MANDATORY COACHES MEETING
 
Part of the registration process includes attendance at the preseason mandatory coaches meeting which will be held approximately 2 weeks after a Registration Deadline Date.  Failure to have a representative at the mandatory coaches meeting may result in your school being dropped from the conference and no refund will be issued.  If the Capped Amount has been reached, then a forfeiture penalty will be assessed.  In addition, a $25 fine will be assessed to any school who does not have an adult representative at the meeting.

The link above contains the registration form for conference events.  Please complete the form and turn it in to the CYO office on or before the Deadline Date for the particular sport and level for which your school is registering.  
 
Tentative Status: If your school is uncertain if it can field a Varsity team for the fall season by Aug 17th, please indicate as Tentative on the registration form under Varsity.  Schools indicating Tentative will have until August 24th, 2012 to confirm your teams participation and avoid any penalty.
Note that the registration fee must be received by October 1, 2012 in order to validate your registration.  Lastly, if you have any special requests regarding your registration, please list it on the form and we will do what we can to honor your request.
Team Roster

Each team that registers to participate in a CYO Conference event (all levels), must submit a completed roster along with your schools registration form and fees.
