2005 14-U D Ray Team after winning 3rd place trophy and medals at the AAU National Qualifier Tourn.

GREAT GREAT JOB!!!
All D Ray players deserve recognition after beating 2005 March AAU National Qualifier Tournament Chanpion and the number #1 seed at this tournament Delaware Dragons 13 to 6.
The D Rays also posted victories against a Virginia team, the Red Storm 18-3 and a West Virginia team from Morgantown 12-2.
The D Rays first day loss was to this year's Tournament runner-up from Pennslyvania, Lanco Cobras Blue who record was 40-1 for 2005 before the tournament. It was a close hard fought seesaw battle 7-6 in a game that could have gone either way. The D Rays lost a semi-final game to a team from NY, the Hurricanes who went on to beat Lanco 6-5 in the finals and became Tournament Champions.
Thanks to all the players and parents for supporting our players throughout the long weekend. On the whole we played real hard and hit the ball really well. We began to really gel as a team this weekend, all players supported their teammates and played with big hearts and good sportsmanship. You guys made the coaching staff proud. Good Luck in our next tournament at WT. This time let's bring home the GOLD! Coach Mario
