FALCONS 14 - JACKSBORO M.S. 0
Falcons open the 2009 campaign with a 14-0 win over Jacksboro Middle School Eagles. The event was a jamboree format where each team played two full length quarters. Quarterback Marcus Weaver connected on Touchdown passes to wide receivers Darius Filer & JuJuan Hansford; receiver Penny Smith added another catch on the 2 point conversion. A big congrats to Xavier Hawkins & DJ Campbell for winning halftime skill activities. Xavier won the longest throw contest (53 yards) and the fastest back award. DJ won the fastest linemen award.

FALCONS 0 - WELCOME ALL PANTHERS (GA) 24
Falcons open play at Centennial Bowl in Stone Moutain, GA with embarassing loss. Game started out competitive then after fumble return for TD by Panthers the Falcons wilted.

FALCONS 6 - TUCKER LIONS (GA) 7
In game two of the Centennial Bowl the Falcons were matched against the always tough Tucker Lions. The game played in a downpour was a game dominated by turnovers. The Falcons stood up and fought throughout whole game. QB Marcus Weaver connected on a long TD pass to WR Xavier Hawkins. DB JaJuan Stinson intercepted a Lions pass.

FALCONS 6 - P.A.S.S. MUSTANGS (GA) 13
In game 3 of the Centennial Bowl the Falcons got off to a slow start against the VERY athletic Mustangs. Falcons moved the ball well offensively with some short passes to TE Chandler Greer, WR's Penny Smith & Xavier Hawkins but could never punch in until the second half when FB DJ Campbell rumbled to the endzone up the gut. DB Marcus Weaver intercepted a Mustang pass.

FALCONS 24 - CARTER HORNETS 22
Falcons opened up Knox Metro League play with a nail biter against a VERY good Carter Hornets team. The Falcons started out fast with scoring on the games opening drive. Carter quickly answered. The Falcons led 16-14 at the half but lost the lead late in the game, the Falcons on a long touchdown pass from QB Marcus Weaver to WR Xavier Hawkins who out raced the Hornets defenders 65+ yards. RB DJ Cambell added a touchdown for the Falcons.

FALCONS 14 - BRENTWOOD ACADEMY EAGLES M.S. 30
Falcons traveled I-40 West to Nashville, TN and beautiful Brentwood Academy High School to take on state power house Brentwood Academy Middle School team. The Falcons traveled light (injuries and flu bug) forced several key players out of action. Falcons never got anything going; the physical Eagles clearly outplayed us on this day. WR Xavier Hawkins scored both Falcons TD's.

FALCONS 14 - HOLSTON RAVENS 6
Falcons started out sluggish against the scrappy Ravens. In the first half QB Marcus Weaver connected on 2 TD passes to WR Xavier Hawkins. After that the Falcons shot ourselves in the foot as every possession was ended with a turnover. The Falcons improve to 2-0 in league play.

FALCONS 42 - C.B.FO. ADMIRALS 0
Falcons came out ready to play! The running game was clicking early and often as JaJuan Stinson, Elijah Clark, Xavier Hawkins & D.J. Russell all scored TD's on the ground. Hawkins caught a TD pass from Marcus Weaver for the Falcons 6th and final score. Everyone made contributions to the win aswe emptied the bench in the 3rd quarter!

FALCONS 34 - KARNS BEAVERS 12
Falcons got off to a slow start but finished with another league win. WR Xavier Hawkins & QB Marcus Weaver connected on a long TD pass for the games first score. JaJuan Stinson returned the opening 2nd half Kick-Off for a score (team's first special teams score); FB D.J. Campbell & WR JuJuan Hansford also caught TD passes.

FALCONS 22 - SOUTH DOYLE CHEROKEES 0
In the Falcons Home Bowl we played sloppy but walked away with a shut-out win! Marcus Weaver, Elijah Clark & JaJuan Stinson scored TD's. DL Terry Dailey anchored the Defense with a few behind the L.O.S. tackles.

FALCONS 6 - CARTER HORNETS 0
The game was exact opposite of the first game w/ the Hornets (shootout). This time both defenses showed up to play. The Falcons played their best game of year on that side of the ball. DL D.J. Campbell, Edward Jones & Tre' Davis; LB Kole Matherly & JuJuan Hansford anchored the defense which didn't yield a single first down against the talented Hornets. The offense struggled most of the game but scored on our opening possession with RB D.J. Campbell punching one in from the 7 yard line. RB Elijah Clark had a long touchdown run but was called back due to a penalty.

FALCONS 6 - CATHOLIC IRISH 8
The Falcons struck first with RB Elijah Clark going un-touched 40+ yards. The Falcons "D" played big all night pressuring the Irish QB. Tre' Davis had several "Tackles For Loss". In the end the Irish punched in a late score and converted their 2 point attempt for the win. On a wet night we came up short but hopefully we get another shot at them!

FACLONS 32 - CBFO ADMIRALS 0
On a cold wet morning the Falcons playing for the first time since the tough loss. Many players score TD's (JaJuan Stinson, Elijah Clark, DJ Campbell). The defense played well and pressured the Admiral QB all game.

FALCONS 8 - CARTER HORNETS 6
In the first round of the '09 Sr. Midgets Playoffs the Falcons were matched against the very talented Carter Hornets. For 3+ quarters both defenses dominated the game. The Falcons finally got the ground game heated up on a long 4th quarter drive behind the running of RB's DJ Campbell, Tre' Davis & Elijah Clark. The O-Line got off the ball and made holes time after time on the 12+ play drive. RB Tre' Davis scampered 30+ yards before being tackled inside the 1 yard line. QB Marcus Weaver sneaked in the endzone the next play. RB DJ Campbell bulldozed into the endzone on the 2 point conversion. The very first play from scrimmage Carter raced 60+ yards into the endzone. Their conversion attempt was denied behind a great stand by our defense. DL DJ Campbell, Chandler Greer & DE Kennit Griffin played well for the Falcons.
