Welcome to the 2013 Lightning Lacrosse Little Laxer program! This is our 6th year of bringing the greatest game on Planet Earth to the pre-k thru 1st grade crowd. To register your child just click on the Online Forms tab on our home page and then click on the 2013 Registration form. The registraiton fee is $100...take $25 off if you register by 11/1/2012.
Eligibility
Kids from all towns are welcome to participate in our Little Laxer program.
Location
Most of our sessions will be held on the lower fields (#1, 2, 3) at West Windsor Community Park (WWCP) located at the intersection of Princeton Hightstown Road and Slayback Drive/Bernt Midland Blvd in Princeton Junction, NJ. You can generate your own directions to the Park with this link:
West Windsor Community Park - Generate Directions Once you turn into the Park follow the road to the end and park in the lower lot. You'll find us on the football field next to the big mound.

Saturday, June 1 Lightning Picnic, 5 PM to 8 PM. Join the Lightning 2rd thru 8th grade teams at West Windsor Community Park for a year end party. Food, music, picnic games, inflatables and more!
Equipment
Pre K Soft Lacrosse - this is a co-ed program. The Lightning will provide all the equipment your child will need. The kids will enjoy learning lacrose FUN-damentals with oversized soft headed lacrosse sticks and soft balls. Please note: there are no formal lacrosse games at this level.
Kindergarten/1st Grade Boys and Girls Programs - The boys and girls will play separately. Each session will include skills & drills work with some "game like" scrimmages which will help prepare the kids for playing at the 2nd/3rd grade level.
Our kindergarten and first graders will be playing with the gear the big kids use. Parents must purchase equipment for players participating in this program. Equipment is available from several local retailers. Ewing Sports in Montgomery is a Lightning sponsor and they offer discounts on beginner's equipment packages. Call them at 609 497 2323 for more informaiton or directions.

Parental Volunteer Committment
While there is no required volunteer committment for the Little Laxers program we do need a hand now and then with things like: T-shirt distribution, assistant coaching, Picnic activities, etc. Get in touch with Cory if you are willing to help out.
