The Sherrill Athletic Club, Inc (SAC) is an incorporated Not-For-Profit that oversees and runs the Sherrill Silversmiths. The SAC was incorporated on December 30, 2010, and set up specifically to allow the Sherrill Silversmiths to compete as a member of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. The NYCBL is funded in part by a grant from Major League Baseball and all franchises within the NYCBL must be incorporated as a NYS Not-For-Profit. The SAC is also in the process of becoming a 501c3 tax emept organization as well, making all donations and sponsorships of the Sherrill Silversmiths tax deductible.
