Cheer Age/Weight Requirements
Cheer:
Mitey Mite (Invitational) 7 - 8 – 9
10 & under Min 8 years old
11 & under Min 8 years old
12 & under Min 9 years old
13 & under Min 11 years old
15 & under Min 12 years old
Cheer Small team 4 – 16 members, male and/or female.
Cheer Large team 17 – 36 members, male and/or female.
*The asterisked (*) provisions in each division are for those leagues/associations that carry “older but lighter” football players. The age of the spirit participant may match the age of the football players in that same division. (i.e., if the league permits a football player to be a 13 year old, older-lighter junior midget, then the spirit squad may also sign-up a 13 year old participant on the corresponding cheer/dance squad.) The spirit participant is matched in age only, weights do not apply.
ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL REQUIRE:
1. An original or certified copy of their Birth Certificate.
2. Proof of Medical Insurance. (Copy of front/back of card).
3. Medical Clearance Form (Signed by a Physician).
4. 2009 Year-End Report Card (4 copies). (Also applies to Home-Schooled participants).
Cheer Uniform Costs:
$110 - Cheer skirt & vest
$125 - Mandatory Spirit Pack
TOTAL FOR MANDATORY CHEER:
In lieu of the $100 uniform deposit, uniforms will be purchased for $110. 50% of uniform and spirit packs are due at the time of fittings. All remaining balances are due June 20, 2009. Warm up and cheer bags must be paid in full at the time of order.
ALL Cheerleaders will be required to purchase the MINIMUM Mandatory Spirit Pack package that includes:

*Spankies
*Socks
*Camp Shirt and Shorts
*Hair Bow
*Pompons
IN ADDITION, the following optional items are available for purchase:
$70 Warm-ups:
Pants and Jacket with name

For Warm-ups & Cheer Bags, 100% payment is due at time of order.
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
The first 4 weeks, we will be practicing Mon - Fri from 6:00 - 8:00.
The first 10 hours of practice is mandatory conditioning. Anyone missing any of these hours will be delayed with their participation in stunting the following week.
After that, we go down to 3 nights a week. We try to stick with the football practice schedule of T-W-Th. However, at that time we are usually moving to an indoor facility because of lighting and weather conditions and the safety of the girls. Depending on availability of indoor sites is what will determine exactly what are schedule is going to be. I will be working on indoor sites for each squad.
