I'm sticking with the Bat Rules from previous years. There has been no change to the safety of the bats we have used the past few years. The manufacturers push for new rules in order to sell more bats. Since I didn't get a kickback this year, I'm not going to propagate their deception.
The rules are as follows:
13U & Below
Big Barrel Bat Rules 2 5/8" or 2 3/4"
USSSA Mark 1.15
OR
BBCOR bat
OR
USA Bat Standard
OR
Wood bat
14U & Older
BBCOR bat
OR
Wood bat
New USA Baseball marked bats authorized for use for all age groups
