The Chili Lions Football and Cheerleading Association is a member of the Upstate New York American Youth Football and Cheerleading League. The league is made up of teams from the Rochester and Buffalo area and some travel for games is required.
The Upstate New York Cheerleading League is part of the American Youth Football and Cheerleading Big East Region which is made up of teams from NY, Pennsylvania, NJ, Maryland, Delaware and Washington, D.C. The Big East Region of American Youth Football is part of the National American Youth Football and Cheerleading League which is made up of 8 regions. The following 8 regions make up the National Pop Warner League.

General Information
The Chili Lions start practice the last full week of July for both Football and Cheerleading. For the month of July/August all practices are held at Davis Park on Monday through Thursday of each week from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Younger levels will have shorter practices.
After Labor Day football practices move to Memorial Park and will held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Saturday mornings from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM. After Labor Day cheerleading practices will be held at a place to be determined.
All Chili Lions home regular season football games are played at Memorial Park on Sundays. All Chili Lions away football games are at the discretion of the home team and possibly could be played on Saturday. A game schedule will be distributed in August upon approval from the Upstate New York Pop Warner Little Scholars League.
All Chili Lions Football and Cheerleading teams are at a competitive level which requires post season play except the Tiny Mite division which is an instructional level only and does not have post season play. Post season play may include travel outside of the Rochester area and may include travel outside the state of NY, possibly including overnight trips. Regional post season play runs all the way through the weekend after Thanksgiving for Regional Championships and the National Championships are held the first week of December in Orlando, FL.
