FAQ

**Please be aware this is a men's league, there are no womens or childrens divisions

1. Who do I contact if I am interested in registering a new team for the upcoming summer?

A. The easiest way to do this is email londonontariosoccerleague@gmail.com with your contact information so we can send you a registration package.

2. How do I register as a single player rather than an entire team?

A. As a league we do not register individual players.  The best way to find a team is putting your information and experience on the website forum.  Many teams will look there when short for players.

3. Does each team need to provide a home field?

A. No, the field allocation is determined by the league President when creating the schedule.  However, if you have a field that we do not currently use and it is in good condition, we are more than welcome to suggestions.

4. Is each team responsible for getting their own uniforms/jerseys?

A. Yes, it is the team managers responsibility to purchase jerseys for the team.  The league does not provide any shorts, socks, or balls.  Also in the case that there is a colour clash, the away team is responsible for wearing an alternate colour.

5. What equipment is each team responsible for bringing to the game?

A. Each team is expected to bring two corner flags and a net.  Any team that forgets the net will forfeit the game.  The home team is required to have a game ball as well.

6. Where are the games played?

A. The games are played all over London.  The London Ontario Soccer League plays at some of the most premier fields in London such as City Wide field, the BMO Centre, Chelsea Green, and many more.  You can get a better look at the fields under the Field Locations tab.

7. How long are the games?

A. In previous years, the games have been 80 minutes in length.  This year however they are being extended to a full 90 minutes.

8. Are the games officiated?

A. Yes each game has an experienced Referee.  Flagsmen however are either absent or each team can appoint a player or "fan" to take on that duty.

9. How long are the seasons?

A. The season begins in mid-May and will run to the end of August.  Play offs begin end of August and can go until the middle of September.
