Concession Stand Info.

 Hello Orwigsburg Little League parents,

As many of you know a large portion of the league's revenue is obtained directly through proceeds generated from the concession stand. This would not be possible without the hard work and cooperation from our league parents.

It is our responsibility as a league to continue our success in the concessions in order to provide for and support all our players and league as a whole. In order to do this it is required that a parent/representative of each player in the Major and Minor division volunteer their time to work in the concession stand approximately 3 – 4 games (depending on number of players on your team) during the regular season.

Each team will have a team mom, or "team representative" to coordinate scheduling throughout the season if you are interested in getting involved and helping keep the oh. L. L. A successful organization to benefit our local children please contact a board member.

Concession opening checklist

 

 

 

Plug-in and turn on appliances and TURN ON FAN !

 

Fryers (two 375°) M/W – pretzel machine – crockpots

 

hotdog roller (10 to start, then lower), pizza oven (400°), mini cheese crockpot (high).

 

 

 

Put cardboard down in front of fryer are you

 

cardboard is stacked behind metal shelving units.

 

 

 

Mix beef broth, use container to heat in microwave.

Add thawed burgers from fridge, to broth in crockpot

 

dried beef mix in basket above workstation.

 

If no burgers thawed, you must pull pre-grilled burgers from freezer and defrost.

 

 

 

Add hotdogs to roller

 

hotdogs in fridge.

 

 

Soft pretzels and oven

 

spritz with water first push in salt, place in oven until knot in middle is soft. 5 – 7 minutes frozen.2 – 3 minutes thawed. Transfer to warmer

 

 

Start coffee and hot water for cocoa

 

coffee and filters in middle drawer of Cabinet. Cocoa on shelf or in tub. 

 

Cheddar cheese in mini crockpot        

 

transfer from can in fridge to croc insert. May be “kick – started” in M/W first

 

 

 

Set up condiment window

 

Ketchup, mustard, chopped onions in red/white paper boat with spoon, salt and pepper, coffee accouterments (in Tupperware on shelf)

 

 

Check for instructions and pricing for “Special of the Game”

 

  all utensils are in top or bottom drawer of Cabinet, if you can’t find something check in plastic bin under oven table.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Closing Checklist

 

 

Thanks for checking all surfaces are disinfected and dishes are clean.

 

Clean utensils and put in drawer plastic tub with provided antibacterial dish detergent.

 

Wipe down bottles on slushie machine with soapy water.

 

Make sure all buns are placed in plastic tub and the lid is tight.

 

Dog roller needs to be wiped down with soapy water, turning rollers to clean evenly – tray removed and washed.

 

Unused condiments and tray must be thrown away at the end of the day, wipe condiment counter.

 

Wipeout pretzel warmer and pizza oven.

 

Wipe down fryer – please be careful – may be HOT.

 

Restock any drinks that are low.

 

Pull one pack of frozen burgers and put in fridge – Friday night pull three bags for weekend.

 

Check bathrooms, clean as needed and empty trash cans, lock doors.

 

Broom sweep floors, make sure to get all food off floor especially around fryer.

 

Unplug appliances that were unpluged at beginning of game: Friars, grill, M/W, pretzel warmer, mini crockpot, oven, crockpots, roasting pan, dog roller.

Turn lights off.
