Click here to find the latest bat information, including the 2012 Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers.

New Regulations on Aluminum Bats (Baseball)

Effective 2009 regular season and tournament play:
 
1. Aluminum baseball bats used in the 12 year old and younger divisions of play must be printed with a BPF (Bat Performance Factor) of 1.15 or less.
     
2. Baseball bats used in the Junior Division of play can not exceed 2 5/8" diameter.
     
3. Aluminum baseball bats in the Senior and Big League Divisions of play must be printed with "BESR".
