Indoor Facility Update

The vision of Tim Terry (District one Administrator) and the Carson City Little League for an Indoor Facility has become a realization thanks to Don Smit. Don has joined the CCLL Board as Indoor Facility Coordinator. In this role Don has made major strides in the facility to be built at Governors’ park. This has been a goal of Tim Terry’s /CCLL and now with Don’s project management skills look to become reality.

Location:

Current location of our build site is in the North West corner of the park. The site is the landscaped area near Field #5 (right field) and Field #6 (left field). CCLL is proud to have this building built at our park and to have this accessible to all of your young players.

Ground breaking:

Don’s vision is to break ground in the next 60 to 90 days and have the doors open in time for our spring league. Don’s commitment to both this project and this community is unmatched and welcomed within our league.

Uses:

The main use is so the kids can practice even when the weather is not in our favor.  Other uses consist of Batting cages, fundraisers, sign-ups, and Meetings.  We started this project as a dream and it is starting to materialize.  If you would like to donate to this cause or come out and help create our future players, please contact us.    For more details, subscribe to our newsletter.
