2008 E-A-G-L-E AWARD WINNERS

As the 2008 Harleysville Eagles Youth Association Awards Banquet came to an end Friday night January 16, 2009 Harleysville Eagles Youth Association President Don Lindberger presented the 2nd Annual E-A-G-L-E Award to a special member of each football and cheer team.
The E-A-G-L-E Award is presented to a team member that displays the following E-A-G-L-E-S characteristics:

G- | Guts |
| L- | Leadership |
| E- | Energy |
| S- | Sacrifice |
All at the Awards Banquet were excited for the announcement of the winners for a very simple reason. The awards winners were chosen at the end of the regular season by a secret ballet vote by their teammates.
Not intended to be a most valuable player award, the E-A-G-L-E Award is designed to foster and encourage values in our children that they can take with them in their life beyond the football field or cheer squad.
