Jay Peterson - Jay, Director of Dance at Superstars Performing Arts Academy, in Norwalk, selected songs, mixed music and created choreography for the two 1st place Pom and Jazz routines that the team performed at the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association, December 2008. Jay spent countless hours teaching and cleaning both of these dance routines. Jay is also one of the team’s biggest supporters, he is often found at many of the team’s special performances and fundraisers. Thanks Jay! We Love You!
Liz Smith - Liz, a former four year Norwalk Dance Team member as well as a co-captain of the 2007-2008 Team, mixed and taught choreography for this past year’s hip-hop routine called Move, Shake, Drop. Norwalk having placed first in this class for the previous several years was moved to a larger school class for this year’s competition. While the team only placed 5th overall, the team hopes for a higher finish next year. Thank you Liz! We Love You!
Doug Richardson and Dustin Huston - Doug and Dustin, help the team in so many ways each year. These guys always assistant with in the set up for the Monster Mash Bash, Rock on to State and our parent performance at the Dance Clinic. They also provide DJ services, MC duties, and many other jobs we probably don’t even know they do. Not to mention all while putting up with the crazy coaches, which they know affectionately as Wife, Sister and Mother. Kudos to Doug & Dustin! We love you guys!
Iowa State University Dance Team - The ISU Dance Team, is gracious enough to help our team several times throughout the year. For many years, they have acted as non-biased judges during our spring dance team try-outs and they have also been there for us judging and critiquing team performances at our annual 'Rock on to State' pre-state dance show hosted by us every November. These are a great bunch of women who are also excellent dancers, this past year their team placed 1st in the collegiate division at the ISDTA Team Competition
