Head Coach Varsity: John McGillian
Graduated from Albright College with a B.A. in Criminology in 2001 and Neumann University with a M.S in Educational Leadership and Special Education Early Childhood Education certificate in 2008 begins his 3rd year as Radnor Baseball Head Coach. Coach McGillian is also an assistant football coach for the Red Raiders in the fall as the Quartebacks coach. Prior to becoming the Head Coach at Radnor High School, he spent 3 seasons coaching baseball at Upper Darby High School as an assistant coach who worked with infielders and pitchers before coming to Radnor.
Coach McGillian played his collegiate ball at Albright College where he was both a pitcher and middle infielder. In 2001, his Senior year, Coach McGillian was voted team captain by his teammates and coaching staff. Coach McGillian has coached numerous All - Delco, All - Central, All Main - Line athletes in his coaching career, both at Upper Darby High School and Radnor High School. Coach McGillian has coached in the Joe Barrett All Star game in 2007 and 2008. In 2007, his first year as the Head Coach, his East team defeated the West team. Coach McGillian has also been nominated to be a part of the Carpenter Cup Delaware County coaching staff for the year 2010. Coach McGillian resides in Drexel Hill, PA.
Assistant Coach Varsity: Eric Hollingsworth
Coach Hollingsworth is entering his first season as Assistant Baseball Coach at Radnor High School. Coach Hollingsworth spent the last four years as Strath Haven High School’s Head Junior Varsity Baseball Coach. He attended King’s College where he played football and was Co-Captain his senior year. He graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and is a Special Education Teacher in the Norristown area. In addition to coaching baseball, Coach Hollingsworth is the Defensive Coordinator for Radnor High’s football team and is Strath Haven High Schools’s Head Wrestling Coach. Coach Hollingsworth lives in Wilmington, DE with his wife and two sons.
Assistant Coach Varsity: Frank Nunan Coach Nunan is entering his second year as an assistant coach for Radnor Baseball. Coach Nunan is a 2003 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School where he was named 2003 Daily Times Baseball Player of the Year. Coach Nunan played his collegiate ball at Temple and West Chester University where he was a 2 year starter as an outfielder for both teams. He transferred from Temple to West Chester University and was named All Conference outfielder in 2008. Coach Nunan graduated in 2009 from West Chester U with B.A. degree in History with Secondary Education certification. Currently, Coach Nunan is employed in Radnor Township School District at Radnor Middle School. He also is the boys basketball 8th grade head coach at Radnor middle school.
