Head Varsity Coach: Al Cavagnaro                                                                                                
Coach Cavagnaro has been the varsity coach since 2000 and has overseen the programs' rise from Class "B" to Class "A".  During Coach Cavagnaro's tenure the football program has added a modified program and now has over 130 players participating in its three levels, this is a far cry from the 48 that started out in in first year. Coach Cavagnaro was the Buffalo Bills Coach of the Week last year for the Spartans win over Albion.  Coach Cavagnaro was also named 2005 and 2006  Class "A" North Coach of the Year by his peers.  Coach Cavagnaro's teams have increased their levels of competitiveness in each of his seasons.  Coach currently teaches 6th grade in the Starpoint Middle School.  He is also Starpoint's JV boys basketball coach.  Coach Cav is married to wife Patty and has three children, Rosie, Allie and John.  Allie and John serve as the varsity ball girl and ball boy.

Coach Aquino enters his forth year as an assistant coach.  He came to Starpoint from from the Kenmore East Football staff where he served as the Modified Assistant Coach.  Coach Aquino played his college ball at Canisius College and high school at Kenmore East.  Coach Aquino is also the Starpoint Modified Baseball coach.

Varsity Stats: Mark Mariglia & Doug Abel

Every week for the past four years Mark and Doug have been on the sidelines recording each play to provide you with the most accurate stats in WNY.  Both have been a tremendous asset to the Starpoint football team.  We thank them for the countless hours that they put in put Starpoint football back on the map.
