Support comes to The Union Road Optimist in so many ways, all of which are very important. Families, individuals, company's and other organizations make up our support line. Support comes in the form of money from donations, grants, sponsorships,fundraisers, and in-kind donations. In-kind donations include Forestview High School letting us use their field for games, the church letting us use their parking for practice, and food and supplies donated for various events.
Volunteers were a big factor in our success in the 2008 season. Without the unselfishness of our many volunteers nothing would have been possible. This includes our coaches who give up so much of their time and parents and other family members who volunteer through the year.
Thank You to everyone who contributed the The Union Road Optimist Jaguars 2008 Season. A season that will always be remembered. You helped to make many children's dream come true.
