Gentlemen,

We are having our first annual USPL Mixer ball tournament on Friday August 17 & Saturday August 18 @ Milliken. We have six teams that will consist of players from all of the 24 teams in the USPL.

Far beyond the many years of fierce competition, our league generates a sense of fellowship amongst teammates and opposing players. There is a certain bond amongst us that leads to some life long friendships. Some say that this camaraderie is unique to our league. This tournament is your chance to meet some fellow members of the USPL.

The six captains have been identified and we will get together next week to choose the teams at random. The captains will pick their team indiscriminately from an envelope. They will also have one exemption pick and will be allowed to make one trade after the draft process is completed.

It will be an enjoyable Friday night and Saturday of ball. All teams will play a minimum of three games.

We currently have 36 players that have signed up. Please pass this note to all of your teammates.

Details:

·         Location - Milliken 4 and 5

·         Beer tent -  Milliken Gazebo

·         Cost - $30 per person

 ·        Rosters - all teams will have players picked at random. (Minimum 12 players).

All USPL rules apply with the exception of the following:

1.      1 Home Run hitter per game (when you hit the first HR that individual becomes the designated HR hitter). If someone else hits a HR the result is an out.

2.      If you walk the home run hitter, the designation is removed until the next home run is hit.

3.      7 run mercy per inning with the last inning open.
