Training Room Open

The training room is basically complete and open. There is an ice machine in the room that can be used by all. The room also has a taping table, ice baths, sink, and rehab equipment (and a TV). If the room is locked, it please see your coach or the Athletic Office.

Doctor available in Training Room Tuesdays

Dr Steve Lipschutz from Quince Orchard Medical Center will be in the Training Room every Tuesday from 2:15 to 3:30 to consult with athletes and coaches free of charge. Please feel free to utilize him to help diagnose and treat your athletes injuries. His goal is to be able to work up treatment/rehab plan for our athletes that can all take place in the Training Room.

ImPACT Concussion baseline testing program available to all athletes

ImPACT is a computerized exam utilized across the country to successfully diagnose and manage concussions. The first step is to complete the baseline test prior to injury.  If an athlete is believed to have suffered a head injury during competition, ImPACT is used to help determine the severity of the head injury. This program also offers a grat deal of information on concussions and concussion prevention that is available to you.This program is free for our athletes. We can do up to 15 students at a time and the process takes about 45 minutes per group. The test will take place in the computer lab at Wootton.
